    Hello!

I am someone who believes in prioritizing mental health and self care in order to live our best lives as our best selves. I am also a strong believer in the long-time cliché: Therapy is a journey… so you’re going to need a good pair of shoes! Whether your journey is long or short, smooth or rocky, obstacle filled or a clear path, I believe finding a therapist is like finding that perfect pair of walking shoes- comfortable and supportive. I am a marriage and family therapist, a systemic thinker, and genuine individual looking to help other individuals navigate life and climbing any hurdles blocking their pathway.

As an undergraduate, I studied criminal justice and psychology then went on to receive a master’s degree in elementary education. During my time teaching, I found a passion working with adolescents who struggled with their mental health. I decided to receive a second master’s degree in marriage and family therapy and it was the best decision I ever made!

    Therapy

My approach in the therapy room is gentle, compassionate, and direct. I do my best to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for all of my clients and in doing so, allow for a genuine connection of two people to form. I will come into every session ready to listen with empathetic ears and challenge you when appropriate. Growth can be hard work, but you don’t have to do it alone.

Some of my specialties include working with adolescents/teenagers, young adults, and adults who are dealing with any of the following: anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, life transitions and stress, communication issues, and family conflict.

I provide telehealth services so you can engage in therapy from the comfort of your own home. Call anytime to set up our first session and let’s see if we are a good fit!
